Repairing your crankshaft includes:

  • Replacement of PL flywheel pins
  • Replacing the connecting rod with a new one made by CKR with a piston pin mounted on a D15 needle cage (the piston pin is not part of the connecting rod)

Realization of repair, order of your crankshaft:

We can start processing the order only after receiving your shipment. You must first deliver the crankshaft to our place of business, it is possible in person or by any carrier to the address:

Motokrámek sro
Tomb 145
763 15 Slušovice
776 018 376

Add a note with your name and phone number to the package, so that we can consult with you about the condition and possibly the scope of the crankshaft repair.

We recommend sending the crankshaft in a reinforced box where it will be securely fixed against movement. Padding with cardboard from the box has proven to be the most effective. If the part is not packed according to this recommendation, we are not responsible for any damage during transportation. For large crankshafts (two-cylinder), we recommend personal pick-up after repair, as it can fall off due to its own weight when tapped.

After the repair, we will send the part back to you in the same box. The cost of crankshaft repair does NOT include the cost of its transportation.

Repair date:

It usually takes 2 to 4 weeks to complete a crankshaft repair, depending on the date the crankshaft was delivered to us and the extent of the damage. For small orders, it is possible to combine it with another service (e.g. cylinder grinding) or purchase from our e-shop due to one shipping fee. However, this must be arranged in advance.

Final note:

It is important to remember that the crankshaft is the heart of the engine and it is important to treat it with care. Even when disassembling the engine, if you beat it with a hammer, its alignment and strength can be damaged so much that we cannot get it to ideal condition during repair. Also, when folding, it is necessary to proceed according to a professional manual or experience.
