Repairing your crankshaft - Stadion, Jawetta - new connecting rod

Repairing your Stadion, Jawetta crankshaft includes replacing the connecting rod with a new one, re-pressing and centering work.

We use TW connecting rods with a needle cage for the piston pin, which have proven their quality and durability.

Pay attention to the flywheel pins (they are soft), their threads (M10x1 mm), the cone, the thousand-sided shaft. If these parts are damaged, they cannot be replaced normally because they are a monolith with the flywheel (one piece) and the repair is no longer worthwhile.

ATTENTION! for these crankshafts, connecting rod pins in three sizes were used, for the largest diameter of the original connecting rod , A NEW CONNECTING ROD CANNOT BE USED DUE TO LOW STIFFNESS AFTER PRESSING. In this case, a REBUILT connecting rod (DIFFERENT PRICE) must be used.

We recommend sending the crankshaft in a reinforced box, where it will be securely fixed against movement. The most effective method is to use cardboard from the box. If the part is not packed according to this recommendation, we are not responsible for any damage during transport.

After the repair, we will send the part back to you in the same box. The price of the crankshaft repair DOES NOT INCLUDE the cost of its shipping .

Repair completion date:

The repair of a crankshaft usually takes 2 to 3 weeks, depending on the date the crankshaft is delivered to us and the extent of the damage. For small orders, it is possible to combine it with another service (e.g. cylinder grinding) or purchase from our e-shop for a single shipping fee. However, this must be agreed in advance.

It is important to remember that the crankshaft is the heart of the engine and to treat it accordingly.

Even when disassembling the engine, if you hit it with a hammer, its alignment and strength can be damaged so much that we cannot get it into ideal condition during repair.
