Do you know how they say that the biggest companies were started at home in a garage? A garage is a place where everything starts with an idea, a thought, a dream...
That's where our founder Pavel Jakuba Sr. started. His skilled hands, back in 1992, repaired not only motorcycles but also garden equipment on request - the company Motoservis Jakuba was founded. At that time, selling spare parts was only an advantage for a few acquaintances and friends. Only a handful of you, our long-time customers, probably remember the original garage era, and we hope we won't offend anyone if we call you our witnesses.
With increasing orders and demand for spare parts, came the first bold leap into the unknown. In 2000, we moved from our home garage to an inconspicuous building in Kašava. There, our attention later focused exclusively on motorcycle service, and the accompanying parts sales gained so much volume that we decided to establish an e-shop in 2008.
A few years after starting online sales, there was so little space left to store goods that in 2014 we decided to separate the service from the store, which we moved to a nearby building next to the local grocery store. For a decade, it was our motorcycle headquarters and your headquarters for purchasing parts and picking up orders. Since 2018, the service has specialized in a narrow range of professional work, such as wheel alignment, crankshaft renovation, etc. We still carry out some of them today, but we devote the bulk of our efforts to our e-shop, which we are constantly expanding and fine-tuning the range so that we can be reliable partners for you in your restoration and service efforts.
Current
It took almost a year, the preparations were lengthy, but the joy of the new phase of the company was stronger than the fears. In 2023, we took a major step in our development when we moved from the cramped Kašavská store to the spacious premises in Hrobice u Slušovice. It's just a hill away, but we now have 2000 m2 of space to store everything you need for your legendary projects. Recently, we have become more involved in our own production of parts, and our growing team has almost 20 members. Slovakia represents the second largest group of customers, however, packages from Motokrámek also regularly travel to all corners of the EU and the world.

And to go back to the beginning. In the beginning there was a dream, but it was not in the least as big as the reality of where we are now. The sincere gratitude that thanks to your favor we can grow and achieve something that we did not even dare to think of in 1992 is enormous. Sometimes we miss dirty hands, overalls and the smell of the workshop, but that is now your privilege. Our mission is to make sure you have everything you need to work on your motorcycles.
