The 23-tooth gear is located on the clutch shaft and provides 5th speed in a 5-speed short-range transmission.
It is used in 5-speed gearboxes on Simson S51, S53, S70, SR 50, SR80 engines.
It cannot be confused with the wheels from the 4th speed gearbox!
