Jawa sprocket seal

The seal is used only on original and older production sprockets, the rubber is pressed against the nut's lock washer and thus seals the groove against oil leakage. On new sprockets there is no bevel for this rubber, you can help there if you put a little sealant under the washer and after tightening the washer it is pressed into the groove and thus seals this groove.
