Repair of your crankshaft - Pionýr 550, 555 - new connecting rod

Repairing your Pio crankshaft. 550, 555 includes replacement of the connecting rod with a new one, right and left pivot work with pressing and centering.

We use CKR connecting rods with a needle cage for the piston pin, which have proven their quality and durability. The pins are made by us.

ATTENTION! these crankshafts used connecting rod pins in three dimensions, for the largest diameter of the original connecting rod , a NEW CONNECTING ROD CANNOT BE USED DUE TO LOW RIGIDITY AFTER PRESSING. In this case, the REPAIRED (DIFFERENT PRICE) connecting rod must be used.

Add a note with your name and your phone number to the package so that we can consult with you about the condition or scope of the crankshaft repair.

We recommend sending the crankshaft in a reinforced box where it will be securely fixed against movement. Padding with cardboard from the box proved to be the most effective. If the part is not packed according to this recommendation, we are not responsible for any damage during transportation. For large crankshafts (two-cylinder), we recommend personal pick-up after repair, as they can fall off with their own weight when tapped.

After the repair, we will send the part back to you in the same box. The price of the crankshaft repair does NOT include the cost of its transportation .

Repair date:

It usually takes 2 to 3 weeks to complete a crankshaft repair, depending on the date the crankshaft was delivered to us and the extent of the damage. For small orders, it is possible to combine it with another service (e.g. cylinder grinding) or purchase from our e-shop due to one shipping fee. However, this must be arranged in advance.

Final note:

It is necessary to realize that the crankshaft is the heart of the engine and treat it accordingly.

Even when taking apart the engine, if you beat it with a hammer, its alignment and strength can be damaged so much that we cannot get it to ideal condition during repair.

Also, when folding, it is necessary to proceed according to the professional manual or experience.
