Pulse sensor, contactless ignition base plate for Simson is designed for 6V and 12V. I came across two products on the market - black and red sensor cover. After experience with quality in service, we only install these with black packaging. When replacing the pulse sensor, check the crankshaft bearing clearance, as the vast majority of faults are caused by the ignition rotor (magneto) starting to catch either the sensor or the coils due to the increased clearance of these bearings. This gradually destroys the ignition, including the rotor.
